What to expect?
As a practitioner, Marissa aims to seek out the root-cause of your health concerns with comprehensive case taking. Throughout your first appointment, we'll delve into your story over the course of an hour, discussing your current health concerns and goals – there'll be questions about your symptoms, how you sleep, your personal and family medical history, the food you eat, and yep, how you poop – all with the goal of truly understanding your journey and how best we can support you. Often times, we'll consider functional pathology, to deepen our understanding, alongside nutritional and herbal medicine, and lifestyle interventions to ensure you have all the tools you need to cultivate short- and long-term health.
Marissa takes an empathetic approach, creating a safe, educational, and empowering environment for her patients and ensuring they feel seen and heard every step of the way.
